Edinburgh College of Art and Edinburgh University, Scotland 1963-1968: painting, drawing, printmaking, silversmithing, under Robin Philipson, and art history/theory M.A. (Hons) under Prof. David Talbot Rice.

Artistic design for motorways, AMS/NBV, 1996 as well as other short-term courses in casting, papermaking, etc. onwards.
