Born in Georgetown, Guyana (formerly British Guiana) 1944. 1955-1968 resident in the United Kingdom. 1968-1971 resident in Denmark. From 1971 resident in Sweden. Lives in Uppsala.

Edinburgh College of Art and Edinburgh University, Scotland 1963-1968: painting, drawing, printmaking, silversmithing, under Robin Philipson, and art history/theory M.A. (Hons) under Prof. David Talbot Rice.
Interior decoration techniques, AMS, Sweden 1992. Exterior decoration techniques, AMS 1995.
Artistic design for motorways, AMS/NBV, 1996 as well as other short-term courses in casting, papermaking, etc. onwards.

Freelance translator from Swedish to English. Translated Agnes Nobel’s book ‘Educating through Art’ to English (Floris Books), 1996.
1996-1998 president of KonstnärsCentrum-Öst (a contact organ between professional artists and art commissioners). 
Part-time work at the Uppsala Art Museum 2005-2007, 2009-2011. 
Member of  Bildupphovsrätt (Swedish Artists’ Copyright Bureau).
2001: 'Survival—whose terms?' PowerPoint display and music presenting South American tribes and their struggle for survival.
2015: Book cover for 'Nemesis nu' by Bo Gustavsson, the author with whom I collaborated on a work of art for 'The Art of Peace', 2014. Published January 2016, Alhambra publishers.
